Why use FileView?

Most online file converters ask you to upload your document to their server first — which means a copy of your file sits on someone else's machine, even if only briefly. FileView works differently: every file you open is read and converted directly inside your own browser using JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and there's no account to create. Close the tab and it's gone. That makes it a practical choice for viewing resumes, contracts, spreadsheets or exports that you'd rather not hand to a third-party server, while still getting instant conversions between formats like CSV, JSON, XLSX, XML, YAML and Markdown.
